  1. 1. To help your lipstick last longer try using a nude liner to fill in your lips and then apply your lipstick on top.

    2. Avoid using dark liners with a light coloured lipstick as this looks very unsightly.

    3. Use a lip liner before or after you apply your lipstick some women prefer to use the liner first so they can see the natural line of their lips others prefer to do it afterwards.

    4. Instead of throwing away lipstick colours you don't like try mixing and creating your own palette with other shades blending them together gives your own unique colour.

    5. As we grow older and our lips get thinner avoid dark lipsticks and try to use creamier lipsticks which moisturise. Some lipsticks have plumping agents which help make your lips look fuller.

    6. A handy tip if your favourite lippy breaks you can repair it. Simply melt the broken bit with a match or lighter, put it back down in the lipstick holder and put in your fridge uncovered for about half an hour.
